Membership

Member prices are for members of the Hostelling International (HI) and the affiliated organisations of the Finnish Youth Hostel Association (SRM). To be entitled to the membership rates, you must show your membership card at the reception when paying the bill.

If you don’t have a HI membership card, you may purchase one at our reception when checking in.

The HI membership card entitles you to discounts in Finland and abroad on transportation, car rental, and tourist services. A list of all benefits is available here.

A personal HI card:

Entitles to a membership discount in over 4000 hostels worldwide; in several countries, the card is actually obligatory

The normal price is €17; €12 for the members of SRM or its affiliated associations

The card is valid for 12 months from purchase

Contact information (name, address, and the date of birth) is required for the card as well as the SRM membership card, if any, or a receipt of the paid membership fee

Junior card:

For persons under 17 years

Normal price: €10; for members: €5

Family junior member:

When a parent purchases a card, 4-16 year old children get a card for €2 each
